ADAS

MTCA is conducting advanced engineering to proprietarily create, enhance, and deliver autonomous systems that save lives, empower users, and achieve market penetration to maximize societal benefit. Early research to build the Departed Driver Rescue and Exit Maneuver (DDREM) system has provided the driver behavior monitoring decision logic for the Driver Status Warning (DSW) system with 2020 SOP in Korea through Hyundai. Similarly, the DDREM’s need for safe lane changes inspired the creation of the level 3 Assertive Highway Pilot (AHP) project in MTCA, which will provide safe Automatic Lane Changes (ALC) in all traffic conditions. The ALC function will be promoted to OEs in 2020.

In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI)

Mobis designs, develops and produces a full portfolio of In Vehicle products for advanced, industry-leading User Experiences across the full range of feature offerings, from entry-level to premium segment. These include Audio Video Navigation(AVN), Display Audio(D-Audio), Center Information Displays(CID), Integrated Center Stack(ICS) with Displays, infotainment and HVAC Controls, Clusters, HUD, and Sound Systems. Our customers include most of the top 10 automotive OEMs.
Our design and development include market research and advanced concept demonstrators, user design (HMI/GUI), systems and product feature specification, design, development, and testing, smartphone inter-operability verification, hands-free and audio acoustic tuning, as well as broadcast and GPS signal reception tuning.

Braking

MTCA performs product application engineering; implementing and testing of conventional foundation and electronic parking brake systems in support of customers in the Americas. The Brake Department leads technical design reviews for new technologies being developed by MTCK, such as the 2-Piston motor-on-caliper design. Product implementation includes both hardware and controls activities. MTCA also supports brake component testing for global customers as directed by MTCK.

Steering

MTCA designs, implements and tests steering control logic for ongoing improvement of our existing steering systems as well as for new and advanced steering actuators, such as rear-wheel steering and steer-by-wire. In addition, our local team provides engineering support for customers in the Americas and other regions.

Lamp

Modern automotive lighting provides not only vision and visibility at night, but it is also an important styling feature as it defines the look of the vehicle and ensures brand recognition. All of those interests have to be satisfied while providing a resource-effective solution in terms of cost, weight and power consumption.
- For our customers, we develop attractive lighting solutions and offer concepts and products tailored to the technological needs, brand image and cost demands for each of them.
- We strive to take our portfolio to the next level by constantly searching for, developing and implementing innovative technologies into our products. This includes analysis of market trends to ascertain the future demands of our customers as well as working together with research facilities and suppliers.
